It is highly unlikely that we will get the old stuff back, I think.

I do have the Power of Three League tables that shows who was top of each league the Friday before last. How about we call that a completed mini-league with a £10 prize to each at the top of each league then. I will donate the prizes to keep things moving.

We then start again afresh for next Saturday's game.

Sound fair and reasonable?

(you may as well all say yes because that is what we are going to do anyway ;))

Either way. I have a separate excel record of the How Crap league standings before the Kingston game, will just have lost the predictions for that game. Which is no biggie.

Ok, let's keep that one going then, please. :D

The other two leagues I think we will need to go for the mini-league option because the data isn't there.

I'm not going to give up hope you can retrieve the data, but just in case I'm going to hold on a week to let news spread of the new forum, I'll still do a preview of Saturdays game against Bury, then I'll start from scratch with our home game against Bradford on Saturday October 7th.
I hope that meets with your approval Sphere.

I'm fine with that, thanks.

Morning all.

Think we'll be ok - been having a look through Google's web cache, and the most recent APL results I can find are the Rochdale ones:
https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/ ... clnk&gl=uk
Not sure if WD did an AFC results before TCR closed?
Will keep digging around.

Have found some early Tipping Cows results threads, but not week 7 yet, however I'm guessing / hoping that BHB will have them stored locally to keep track of all our bets?

Likewise Greg will hopefully still have the How Crap? results in his excel spreadsheet, but if not, here's the Peatboghorror results:

:D :ugeek:

Brilliant cheers sg19. If only I knew how to do that I would lol I never for a moment contemplated something like this happening and therefore very naively didnt store them locally. Definitelyvwont make that mistake again.

Would be brilliant if could find week 7.

Looks like the Tipping Cows bpl season 2 week 7 results may indeed be lost BHB, but have managed to find the week 6 results on Bing's cache :-D

Think this is probably the most recent results that still exist to continue the competition from, afaics.
Thanks again for all your hard work in running the competition, and looking forward to resuming whenever you're ready to.
The text is copied below and I have also saved it locally, just in case the Bing web cache suddenly expires - hope this helps:

"Post subject: Tipping cows bpl season 2 week 6 (results)

Well it was certainly an eventful week and no better place to start than the winners. In order of entry we had Don gal win £5.48, billp win all 4 legs of his yankee for £9.21 and welldon win £10.09.
We then had Sg19cowshed das boot win 3 legs of a lucky15 to secure £1.12.
With all wins we see change in the table at both ends leaving it looking like this:

1st dunstabledon £41.35
2nd Camdenite £13.22
3rd Kowalski £13.02
4th Edmundpwb £11.22
5th welldon £10.09
6th Billp £9.89
7th dons gal £6.31
8th donsduck £6.00
9th greg £5.83
10th third team lucky £5.63
11th mkaylesburydon £5.10
12th blodwyn £4.83
13th sg19cowshed das boot £3.14
14th extratime £1.80

We nearly, so very nearly had a flurry of winners but the odd peculiar result put a spanner in the works. Those a solitary goal away and competing for biggest loser were Edmundpwb who somehow fell short as a result of man united subsequently missing out on an eye watering £21.11. Then scribble was a fulham goal short of £6.12. third team lucky looked to better both with only a yeovil goal denying £28.98 . Then it was gregs turn with fleetwood ensuring he missed out on £19.39. Finally it was over to chrisdon who was a surprising man united goal short of £3.82.

That concludes this week with third team lucky being our obvious biggest loser.

On to the weekend now and you can place your bet in the following thread now: viewtopic.php?f=130&t=20731
Good luck and thank you for continuing to take part."

Brilliant cheers sg19 ... racking my brain for week 7 there were no big winners. A lot were let down by blackburn losing to afc if I recall and the table was similar to what it was.

There was definitely no movement at the top. I know even bill struggled with a yankee that only 1 leg won thus returning zilch. Hopefully week 7 can be found but it definitely wasnt mass movement in the table. Im not 100% sure but I think I recall chrisdon having a winner if he can recall. Im not 100% sure but an 80ish pence win rings a bell for you if you recall your 4 selections I can check? Other than that I dont think there was a great deal of movement. Something like £4 ish rings a bell for chris, not 100% sure but if he recalls his selections I can check to see if it matches up. If im right in thinking also concretecowbelle won and the two top winners had a 1p difference in winners so again if she can recall I can start to piece my memory back together. Other than that I dont recall any others.
