What surprised me was how quiet we were - obvs capitulating in under 3 minutes didn't help but I was expecting a few 'que sera sera, we're going to Brom-er-ley..' in response to Crawley. But nothing. It felt like we were as defeated and despondent as our players. I've never left a game early in my life (except occasionally when I had to get a train and/or go to work) but there was absolutely nothing to redeem us yesterday.

Excellent - that's a relief. Must have been after I jumped ship for a pint.

I'm from Bromley. Last time I watched them was v 'Beck(enham) and Penge' in 1970.
