Said sending Kemp out on loan was a mistake and he'd bag 3 in August. I was wrong.

He's just scored his 4th.

Harvie has 2 from left back in a terrible team, I'm not sure Kemp's record is all that impressive. Let's no forget he'd probably be sat on the bench if he was here. It was a mistake not selling him, the loan move wss weird.

Assuming Kemp is on £2k a week then loaning him saves circa £100k

But wouldn't selling him also save that as well as a potential nominal fee and potential sell on? He wanted out it seems and it's not like it was a loan move out of necessity on deadline day just to get him off the books

Yes obviously but we can only assume they know what they are doing

Yeah. Should have either forced Swindon to buy instead of loan, or just kept him and get his agent working to find a club to buy him. There was a lot of interest in him before the loan happened.

I think it's reasonable to assume they DON'T know what they're doing, or at the very least do make mistakes after last summer and much of this window being a disappointment so far.

Any ideas why we can't defend?

- Is MacGillivray not any good?
- Is it the way Alexander has set us up?
- Is there a particular defender at fault?
- Is the whole back line not as good as we think (inc. O'Hora)?

No one is perfect but do they do a reasonable job for a club at our level without an owner willing to splash the cash I would say so
