I missed that , but I'm really glad that he stayed to acknowledge the fans. i think it will make a difference to peoples attitude towards him.

I was really pleased with that too. We talked about lack of appreciation at the fans forum. It’s pleasing to see the fans comments accepted and taken on board and it didn't look forced.

It feels like we’ve turned a corner today. The team are playing as a team and there was a much better connection between the fans and players.

It was appropriate that during the Portsmouth first half his song was rarely sung because he had a dreadful 45 minutes and did exactly that on a few occasions! That said, that was the only game where he has played badly (that I have seen) and he clearly is going to be a great asset to us once he bulks out a bit. :D
