The Beeb still has them as the 1988 cup winners

At least BT Sport stopped doing that. When they did the first (or was it second?) round draw, they showed a list of previous FA Cup winners in the draw, and didn't mention Wimbledon or AFC Wimbledon.

Progress.

I wouldn't have a problem with them referring to Wimbledon FC as previous winners. That is something that actually happened. Standards of journalism continue to decline at the BBC, in line with the general trend.

I understand why this is important to our fans that previously supported Wimbledon, but don't see why the rest of us are bothered.

You'd think that in this day and age, with misogyny such a hot topic, that perhaps actively going after Gail Emms on Twitter might not be a great idea.

Not only pursuing her, but actually being proud of it.

Unbelievable Jeff.

I think it was only previous winners who were still in the draw...

Scum have signed this guy from Maidstone Utd.

AFC Wimbledon have had a bid accepted for Maidstone United striker Joe Pigott after meeting his buy-out of £25,000. #afcwimbledon #Maidstone
