Are you able to source any data for post-shot expected goals? I'd imagine that sort of stuff would be right up your street, it's similar to xG in that scores each shot by how likely it was to have gone in, so you can better tell if a keeper has lots of easy saves vs. lots of worldies

Willy is God, obvs. And great to see that our impressions of Cumming are backed up by the data. Lee N splits opinions because he did have a dodgy period, but the data and his subsequent career proves he was/is a top keeper.

Fisher's stats are probably slightly skewed as he had one less man in defence for a few months allowing unmarked men in the box most games. Yes I mean Richard keogh.

To be honest I think we all all overrated Fisher because he was good with his feet. The stats don't lie - he might of have had Keogh in front of him for a bit but equally he had Darling in front of him for a year which is as good as it gets for a league 1 MK Dons. He has also lost his spot as number 1 at Swansea after some shaky performances.

I think Martin did a lot right with us but their are a few things I think he did get very wrong. He seemed to freeze players out quite quickly to the clubs long term detriment. Lee Nicholls was a superb keeper at this level and should have been given more trust. The other big one that also annoys me is the Nombe situation. It seemed like Martin lost faith after he missed a few chances early in that season. But he looks a proper handful and grabbing plenty of goals for Exeter now.

I agree completely. Martin's snakeoil helped bring in some real quality but his utter arrogance also cost us some very good players.
