Here are the predicted finishing positions for League 1, by Ben Mayhew @ Experimental 361

After our 1-1 draw away at Fleetwood, it's 83% probable that we'll get relegated:

Image

Explanation:
You can think of the ordering of the teams down the left hand side of the graphic as a “best guess” of the final league table, with the coloured bars showing the relative likelihood of each club ending up in a certain section of the table.

Each of the remaining fixtures has been simulated thousands of times to generate probabilities for where each club will finish.

Each club’s current E-ratings and those of their remaining opponents have been used to predict how the rest of the season could play out.

The graphic shows the cumulative probability of where each club could end up, in descending order of average points won.

A full explanation & the E-ratings used may be found at Experimental 361:

It's Pete's train set and you should all feel honoured to be granted the privilege of paying to watch him play with it.

There’s still 17% chance. KTF.

Indeed.

For reference, here are the previous probabilities of MK Dons avoiding relegation:

After the Cobblers away defeat = 53%
RN sacked.
DM appointed.

After the Walsall away defeat = 43%
After the Portsmouth home defeat = 35%
After the Oldham away & Charlton home defeats, and the Rochdale away & Fleetwood away draws = 17%

Time to give the Infinite Improbability Drive, a cup of really hot tea... ;)

I think the only glimmer of hope we have is winning our game in hand against Rotherham to close the gap to 3 points. Although that will be irrelevant if we lose one of our other games and the teams we are chasing win them.

Still lots of points to play for, but we've been saying that for weeks and still haven't won a game. Before we know it, we will be one game away from relegation certainty.

We won't go down. 8-)

Dan will learn from his tactical mistakes.
Nicholls, Wootton and Ebanks-Landell will stop making defensive mistakes.
Cisse will speed his game up.
Pawlett, Aneke and Sow will stay fit.
Nesbitt will add consistency to his threat.
Agard and Ugbo will start to perform the role of strikers and score some goals.

Why are you all being so negative? ;)

I told you that was good shit. Well worth the money.
