Did I have a bet with someone that we’d finish below Kingston? D50 perhaps?

Could have been me. How much?

I seem to recall d50 also stating we wouldn’t go down, these are fellow directors of the keyser express train co. They need to be named and shamed!

I genuinely didn’t think we would go down, even when we made the silly, short term decision to sack our manager.

But we have, no point crying now. We will be playing football next year and I’ll enjoy watching.

Happy to honour that. We'll have to find an opportunity, I can't make Shrewsbury

Me neither - let’s make it some godforsaken L2 ground and I’ll buy you one back too :)

Apart from being wrong by one position, my prediction of 44 points and 22nd place is looking pretty accurate.

I am god on here once again. Rarely wrong, mostly right.

As I already said on page 1 in reply to your OP, great stats Filthy, and many thanks again for the very thorough analysis.

One place & 2pts out with one game left to play was a pretty good projection, even with the subsequent games ending up as they did:

Fleetwood (A) D
Bristol Rovers (H) L
Rotherham (H) W
Bury (H) W
Blackpool (H) D
Gillingham (A) W
Blackburn (H) L
Wigan (A) L
Doncaster (H) L
Southend (A) L
Bradford (A) L
Scunthorpe (H) L

And you might yet be only 1 point out after the final game away at Shrewsbury... :D

Just one point out in the end then, from all that way back in Feb. :)

I did say we'd beat Shrewsbury. Unfortunately I was out on my other predictions.

A few months of cricket and then on to League Two!
