A burger van, a street chips van, an ice cream van, and the East Stand Bar open with MKFM playing outside.

I didn’t expect much but I expected a little more than that.

More of a fan hamlet than village. But still, the sun is out and the beer is cold. Fair play for the attempt

You could have got nothing. If people used it today I can't see why it wouldn't be something more next season.

I’d have rather had nothing than the half arsed attempt today that ended up impacting half time. If you’re going to do something like this you need to do it properly.

I’d be interested if anyone between about half 1 and half 2 saw it get much business. It didn’t either side of that and I think I was one of about 4 burger purchases at half time because I wanted to give it a go. (Overpriced by the way, Caz Bar is cheaper and you get more for your money)

Paid £7 for a Rustlers burger in foil from one of those burger vans outside the ground earlier lol.

Usually don't mind paying over the odds for a good burger - last week at Derby I paid more and had no regrets as it was lovely. £7 for a hot dog at Wycombe that was full of spice and flavour... this was poor quality, full whack.

Before anyone starts, that isn't whinging for the sake of it, it's commenting on what it was. It's a good start and hopefully gets better with time. So I won't hate too much but for what it was it wasn't great. But the idea is good so fingers crossed...

Also, those fuxking morons running the "event" telling fans they couldn't go to the bar until HT - Another example of communication between events organisers, stewards and fans being on its arse.

I got there at 1:15 and stayed till 2:40. For most of the time there were more Chelts than Dons. The burger van was exactly what you get at major sports events like the Open golf - very pricey and pre-packaged (like Rustlers, as Alby said). It did get a bit busier nearer kick off time.

My thoughts on it:
- Glad the club gave it a go
- Would have been good if they'd let the SA know prior, to help drum up support and suggest improvements
- MK has a lot of good street food trucks (see York House every month) - I would MUCH rather it featured some of them
- A better location would be gate 7, so you benefit from any sunshine (5 is in the shade)
- We don't (yet) have a culture of arriving early to eat drink and socialise - so many of our fans get the the ground at 14:50. It will take time to change that (assuming the club want to) but it could be done, given the will and some perserverance
-Overall, a worthy experiment and I hope the club don't just bin it off, but instead take the lessons from today and build on it

Appropriate for a hamburger, but little else.

The experiment wasn't a failure - it worked. It just simply put, can be better.

Gate 7 is an issue because of Caz - maybe get them involved if they move? Half time it worked well, few people had an ice cream and a burger with their pint... it has potential

Wasn't that impressed but hey, onwards and upwards.
