Dear MKDSA Members

I am very sorry to tell you that I will not be standing for the Chairmanship of the MKDSA at the forthcoming AGM. I have recently been diagnosed with a medical condition that needs my full focus and no distractions. Therefore, this means that the MKDSA need a new Chair for the coming year.

Applications for this will soon be closing as will all the other positions on the MKDSA committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Secretary, and general committee members.

It is a constitutional requirement that even existing officers and committee members need to be proposed and seconded and provide a short bio of no more than 250 words why they wish to join the MKDSA committee, and for which position they wish to be considered for.

The closing date for applications is midnight on Monday August 29th, 2022, and should be made to Lou Walsh the MKDSA Secretary via email – secretarymkdsa@yahoo.com

Colin Butler – MKDSA Chairman

The MKDSA and the club will be poorer without you WD, some real noticeable positive change during your time, as well as how supporters perceive the SA. Hope you intend to stick around here, but of course best wishes and hope your health improves soon.

Sorry to hear this. Whomever takes over will have some big shoes to fill. This is the best version of the SA we've had.

The MKDSA has improved dramatically under your leadership and can only hope the new chairperson shares your enthusiasm and ideas.
