The jury is still out on Max. Think hes crying out for a run of games, but I am not sure its going to be here. Hes probably 4th in the pecking and at his age, thats not healthy. Showed some good moments, but mostly off the bench/EFL Trophy. Probably need a loan, with a recall option.

Needs to be more of an impact sub, but a trier and still learning his trade.

19 years old. Get him tied into a long term contract. Still early days but has the potential to bring us in a decent amount of cash.

Agree with this. Even if it means a loan in January.

However I was really impressed with him on Tuesday; I did not expect him to thrive in the system MW played and it feels like it was a major turning point in his time here.

I think the turning point happened before MW. Dean was one of just a few players that looked sharp under GA too.

He was the only positive during our truly dire spell.

*Bristol Rovers.

He wasn't the answer last season. He just wasn't. He's grown, developed and got better in the months since but he was a headless chicken at times last season. Its a silly but fair phrase but he worked too hard. Was too emotional in moments. This season he seems like a proper footballer. Head switched on, controlled, reads the situation better.

He's got a real chance here. Keep working hard and don't let the fans blow smoke up your arse and you'll do well.

19 years old and scoring week in week out at the moment.

Adding £50k to his price tag every week.

Never saw these performances coming if am honest. The more I watch him, the more I love him. Yes he's got a little bit of a petulance about him, but I love his confidence and his attitude. The last thing I'd want to take away from Max Dean is that aggression. There's such a fine line between being a complete hothead at times Vs being placid. Personally I'd rather he kept that aggression in him, even if it does result in some yellows. I remember Dele being at his best when he had that fire in his belly.

How many goals do we think he will get this season? I think 15 for his first full pro season would be brilliant. I just hope we have him tied down to a decent deal, as I am sure Leeds have a pretty ridiculous sell on % if I recall correctly? Could be wrong but I seem to remember 50% being touted.
