He's at a stage of his career where he really needs to kick on. He's supremely talented and has all the physical attributes to go far. I wondered how we managed to sign him after a few games, but now I can see why West Brom, Charlton and Birmingham didn't fancy him. I really hope he does, because he's got everything to be a top player, far beyond this level. He needs to get his head down, trust the gather and find that discipline. If he doesn't, he will get to his 30's and think "What If".

He needs massive work on his out of possession stuff, pressing, winning the ball back and zonal marking setting traps etc and he needs to work on his attitude not letting his head drop and sulking. Very talented but lacks any game discipline and structure to his game. Under williamson he. Will need tk learn to show hes a team player and up for the battle of winning the ball back and building play with players around him with his movement and pass first mentality. He can shine in the right moments when he does the basics right and go on yo beat a man closer tk the opposition goal and not 40/50 yards from it running into a culdesac. He needs to link up with his teammates more and not have him be carried out of possession and show a willingness to support the team with his out of possession work and discipline. Only then can his dribbling flourish and be appreciated in the right areas.

If he can work on all of that and get the basics right he could be incredible in that front 3.

Has it actually been confirmed by either club that he’s returned to us?

Its not exactly a feel good story for either club so they're not going to be inclined to make a splash on their OS or social media. This is where you need our local journos to ask the question directly (for Leko and Stewart).
