Such a talented player and after a couple of games, I was wondering how the f### did we manage to sign him. He's got everything to be a top top player, but its apparent why hes playing L2 football. Struggles for consistency, questionable work rate and lack of in-game intelligence, which unfortunately trump a lot of the strengths he has. He was unplayable in the Wrexham game, but has been pretty useless in the last couple. GA has been pretty vocal in games towards him.

Biggest disappointment. He can create a goal out of nothing but if he doesn't do that it's like 10 playing against 11. Fed up of his sulking too.

I don't see him thriving under Williamson.

He's wasteful and head-down. A bit mercurial of course, but MW cannot possibly tolerate his propensity to give the ball away or to try and do too much. MW's system is very "less is more" when in possession, one and two touches and to maintain momentum going forward. So often Leko slows up play.

Anyone else agree?

My head agrees.

But my heart... who doesn't love to see a player go on a mazy, dribbling run? I know he usually fails but, on rare occasions, I see the ghosts of Jason Puncheon and Angelo Balanta in him and, for that, I'd love him to succeed and so I'd want to give him more time under Williamson. But I expect he'll be gone in January.

The same Daniel Powell that played 231 games for us, and scored some important goals? It’s a shame that he’s not thought of more positively.

Did I say anything negative about Powell or Leko there? I said there are similarities in how they play

True. This is mirrored by some of the more elderly supporters on the concourse at h/t - trying to avoid the crowd and get to the toilets.

It’s up to Leko what he wants to do, there is a very good player there, but he’s going to have to show he can work for ninety minutes on the pitch and not disappear during games, pass the ball rather than trying to beat a player three times, I wouldn’t give up on him yet, MW seems to be a very capable coach and could probably iron out some issues in his game
