Maybe, but wouldn’t that have just been a transfer? I reckon we’ve released him so he has time to find a new club and not restricted to the transfer window.

Hunter has joined AFC Fylde who lie 22nd in the National League, until the end of the season.

Seems to like his Northern coastal towns. He's missed out Blackpool, but covered Fleetwood, Morecambe, Fylde so far.
