Of all the players we have had in the 15 years ive been going to games on a consistent basis he has without a shadow of a doubt the best character, charm and temperament of any young player! For me he is a breath of fresh air and i look forward to many more media and on field appearances from him! An all round top top bloke that you cant help but root for! That post watford interview he did was just brilliant to see, you could see what it meant to him to have such an impact in the game and he talked openly about his start to life here on and off the pitch and was passionate, elated and flirted with letting the usual shackles off you see on players in front of the club cameras these days. Nothing robotic about this decent lad!

Thanks for posting that BD. He seems to be a good lad.

I presume he is injured? Anyone know the extent of his injury and for how long?

There's a talent in him for sure, but I think he needs real clarity and guidance. The game where he got hooked at half time (Last one I believe), he looked like a lost lamb at times and didn't know whether to press or to back off.

It was a hard watch that match. Especially when he went down injured and rolled off the pitch...One of the signings I think will make it good with us but perhaps may benefit from a loan to League two.

I may have missed an update, but haven’t seen anything for a while.

In one of Jackos videos, he was saying something like that Burns was still an important member of the squad, but perhaps expecting to play more of a key role next season.

In other words, there are other players ahead of him in the pecking order

He said this in the context of a question about him and Grant, and his first response was along the lines of "we need players to be ready and understand what we want, and stay focused" and immediately held up Grant as a good example. By implication he may think Burns isn't mature enough with his game yet and might not want to launch him into a relegation battle which has required a lot of discipline and maturity to handle so far.
