I felt he always seemed to stop in front of the last man, rather than run to the line and try and get round him. Good and improving... but not the best winger/WB we've had.

This. He played well but maybe lacked a bit of pace to get to the goal line. His right footed shot was cracking though. Would have been a great goal if it was a touch lower

I'm with you on this one. If Mo Eisa had been playing, I"m sure he would have put in one of Harvie's chances.

Just posted on another thread before I saw this. Wasn't impressed yesterdsy really, and haven't been since he joined. Everyone played well yesterday and it was a cracking game - but I vertainly would not have singled Harvie out for praise. He just doesn't seem to *do* much - especially with his left foot.

Must admit with dadofadon on this. Harvie is OK but would say, in Jan, if we can, it's the wing places to strengthen.

I think it is an area we need to strengthen. I would have preferred to have kept Sorenola but that was out of our hands.

He has little end product. Half the time the ball will end up with him in the final third, he'll just stand there with the ball 1v1 but he rarely if ever takes on a defender. Kinda irritates me a bit at how frustrated he gets in almost every game too. At least Sorinola could put a decent cross in or could out-run their full backs.

Harvie should still start as he's part of a team with momentum and on a winning run, but really we need to strengthen in that area. Josh Martin definitely better in that final third but I suppose Harvie is the better defender between the two of them.

Not saying Harvie is bad, but its the weakest position in the squad at the moment, defensively and offensively.

Watson and Kioso are both better wing backs but unfortunately play on the same side. Would be very surprised if we didn’t strengthen LWB in January.

My son found this on some EFL Twitter feed. Can't vouch for the source, but very surprising:

https://twitter.com/_The72/status/14421 ... 40576?s=20

"Most Key Passes in League One this season so far:
Scott Twine (11)
Daniel Harvie (10)..."
