That doesnt scan well for January, he might have been out for good. We might get stuck with him for a bit longer now. I wish him well though, two months out must be quite a severe injury

Its been said in the matchday threads vs Wrexham, but adding it here for prosperity...

Dennis is a terrible, terrible footballer. He'll be playing for someone like Bedford Town or lower in a few seasons. If still playing at all.

40% pass success yesterday and failed to do even the basics. Poor running off the ball (recalling a 2 v 2 with Gilbey and he just got in the way) and everything broke down with him. On the one occassion that Lofthouse pinged the ball in from the right, he was barely in the box. I get why he had to come on at that time over Harrison (still unfit) or Tezgel (too lightweight) but Dennis is a waste of a squad place.

I'm going be that guy here but I think there is a good player in him but for whatever reason he has regressed a fair bit from the level we know he can hit. He was poor last night when he came on but we know in the past he has had the pace and power to cause defenders problems and he seems a decent finisher. Hopefully his poor display is down to lacking match fitness/ being out for a while. Regardless he needs to start improving fast.

Yeah, thinking back he showed some exciting flashes when he first joined. But he looks terrible now, like he's never kicked a ball in his life. If he can't sort himself out quickly, he should be moved on in the summer, for our sake and for his.

Dennis showed flashes of talent for about the first 5 minutes when he came on during his early tenure here. He then became anonymous.

He might do the odd bit of skill or run, but overall his play is dreadful. So much broke down through him yesterday and saturday, even though he wasn’t on the pitch for long.

He was very frustrating last night. All we need when it's 10 v 11 is someone who will make the ball stick to them and not concede possession. Harrison would have been a better option for that.

I'm somebody who gets stick on here for sticking up for players/managers too long, but I thought he was absolutely shocking last night. Awful movement and positioning, woeful touch. I'm all up for the False 9 ahead of Dennis getting minutes

He's had rotten luck with injuries and I don't doubt that it's affected him more than most could imagine. He's got a lot of attributes, but a hell of a lot to learn still. He's never going to be a starter or even have the rise that Max Dean has had for us. He probably needs to drop down a league or two, keep fit, get some confidence, a bit of know-how and score some goals. We took a punt on him and for both parties, it hasn't worked. Sutton was a real chance for him at this level and he didn't take it for whatever reason.
