You don't have to go. Knowing you, you'll go and stay in the pub and watch it on your phone

No, it's not a MotoGP weekend so I'll go. We'll go to that secret pub that we are absolutely not telling anyone about.

I meant after the game, you blithering idiot. The same one we went to after the Vase final last year.

We'll probably take about the same numbers Newport did anyway - given the likely ticket prices, I can't see us taking more than 10,000 should we get to the final.

I'm expecting the adult ticket price will probably start with a four.

Even after the game I stand by it you pompous toad.

We'll probably take more than 10k because that'll be the only time Milton Keynes Council and the club actually out any effort into getting behind something to donwith the club

Will they, though? I'll believe it when I see it. Plus:

It's the last day of the PL season, so most Arsenal and/or Liverpool fans can be ruled out of a day trip if they're still in with a shot.

I expect tickets and transport will easily top £200 for a family of four, and at ten days' notice as well, which is a lot of money to suddenly find.

It's a 1:30 kick-off, meaning setting off mid-morning at the very latest, which might put even more people off.

The ticket sales process will inevitably be a complete shambles.

I don't doubt all of that, and we certainly won't be taking anything north of 20k, but I know about 10 of my family who never /have never come will come, factor other families with the same kinds of thought and I reckon it'll be more than 10k.

The early afternoon thing won't make a blind bit of difference.. understand it was more notice but it didn't stop thousands travelling to Wembley for the Swans game 2 years in a row.

I'm a Liverpool fan and it's a bit of a pain that the final is on the same day as the last day of the season. It won't stop me going to Wembley, but I can see why other more casual dons fans would be put off. Forget the title race, Klopp's last game is a big enough deal on it's own. You'd better let me know where that secret pub is, because I'll be rushing there straight after the Dons game is finished!

Ha ha ..what do you see here Dan?

A very nice table being spoiled by not having a coaster underneath that glass. :D

In all seriousness, the day after the play-off final is my birthday. Obviously I'll go to Wembley if we get there, but to be perfectly honest I'd rather have the Sunday free to do other things!

If we get there I'll be looking forward to bringing my kids to thier first play off final.....not sure how they will respond to a loss though

I think you are right but it's crazy....unless they think it will sell out they should be aiming for as competive pricing as possible.....especially how much they make per fan on food and drink
