We were massively confident against Wycombe having beaten them three times already and we came out defeated.

The 'simpler tie' isn't simple which makes it complex, they're all good teams for different reasons

From what I said in the other play offs thread:

I feel like if we're going to win the play offs we're going to have to play Doncaster at some point.

I think I'd rather have them over two legs. Do our best to contain them at the Keepmoat in the first leg, then hope that what has generally been good home form can get us over the line in the second and to Wembley. I think if we play them in a one off huge game at Wembley, especially with the momentum they currently have, then our players will shit themselves (à la Stockport and Mansfield).

This is true but for some completely inexplicable reason, of all the times we played them that season we played a different game only once and that happened to be at their place in the first leg. Completely bafflingly we tried to out Wycombe, Wycombe with the expected result.

We played them off the pitch in the home leg as you know but luck wasnt on our side that night.

I watched Barrow and Crawley last night. Barrows leading striker would definitely cause us issues and appears to be pretty solid in the air. Crawley also played some nice football at times.

If it wasn't for the insane run they're on, I'd have no issues with us having Doncaster but that run of form is a major concern for me. The players would naturally fear a team that is on such a strong run and where morale is high. Doncaster would also probably feel like they could beat anyone and will be well up for it.

It is Doncaster's to lose now though, as they have the game in hand and can overtake Crawley.

I genuinely think I'd prefer AFC to Doncaster, although I am not sure my stress hormones would agree.

Donny's Luke Molyneux is on a one man mission to beat us after we spoke to him about signing, then said we're more interested in taking a loan player from Prem club. His words. If we do play them, we should do a bit of man making on him.

Don’t think it really matters, to go up we have to beat two good teams, Doncaster are on fire at the moment, but somebody could piss on that anytime now

I don't care who we play. We won't get promoted.

Is GA going to come back to haunt us, again?

No.
And I'm glad it's not going to be 'our friends'.
'Well ya know' as Joey Ramone often said  I think we might just.....do....it...
