A win today would have taken it to the final game of the season and we all know how that ended in 21/22. We just couldn’t overcome the disappointment.

Devoy scored a brace to seriously dent AFC’s chances of play offs.

My god I hope we don’t end up with Doncaster though. 8 games won in a row, 18 goals scored, 2 conceded. They get the play offs and they’re up.

The other 3 sides currently in the playoff positions all lost today, each conceding at least 3 goals. We've got our problems but none of the other sides are perfect. I agree that Doncaster would be a team to fear, but its out of their hands as to whether they make it

Without coming across as a happy clapper (I am as fucked off as most), we didn't miss out on the autos today, as cliche as it sounds. I could name a good half dozen games where we bottled a draw or a loss, as recent as Notts for example. Today we were beaten by the better side, who happened to be clinical. End of.

We are shit in the playoffs, we will bottle it, etc etc. Its hardly energising for the lads. We've got a good couple of months of either moaning, ranting and telling Winkie to put it back in the bottle, or waxing lyrical about going up. I can't see any value in it right now, as there is still a chance we will go up. Leave that to the off season. The luck has got to change at some point FFS. Back the lads for the next 4/5 games and then rant to your hearts content or salivate over L1. There's still plenty of highs and lows to come.

I'm going to do some more Happy Clapping.

I'm having a large single malt and watching the Bournemouth game. That's a positive in my world.

Friggin' lightweight.
I've been well into The Glenlivet since about 5.45 :ugeek:

I've also walked the dogs, listened to Thursday's and Friday's episodes of The Archers, and had a wee sleep. I'm a busy man

I liked his composure when he was our player.

In the first half he was Agent Boateng. Williams showed glimpses of how good he can be. Bowery is still robbing a living.
