Not even angry really. Too many players just had an off day and didn’t look up to it. Gilbey, Payne, Lofthouse, Wearne. Disappointed.

I worry out under belly is too soft and we have no momentum. Feels like a play-off Semi-final loss to Crawley/Doncaster.

This is where MW will earn his money. The lads will be disappointed and down. MW needs to pick them up and get them up for the task

Tend to agree and very disappointed with how today turned out. Got a great start from a fabulous Max Dean goal and then just dropped into second gear and stopped playing with any sort of purpose. Inevitably we made a few mistakes which encouraged them and after their equaliser there only ever really looked like one winner. Instead of our quick and incisive midfield interplay which can be so devastating to opponents, we very quickly went to long ball with Dean never having a chance against Flint. It made a little more sense when Harrison came on but perplexing tactics overall. Decent (and bang average) teams have put a lot of goals past us in recent weeks so the play-offs are going to be very tough, especially if we end up against perennial bogey team Doncaster.

Not let down as the players gave their all. Just two poor goals to concede. I don't count the last two when we were chasing the game. Mansfield nicked our going up song too.

So where do the ultra negative tactics come from that started around 20 minutes in? Is that MW or the players doing it off their own backs?

Didn't think we was ultra negative. Mansfield just got a toe hold in the game and then we were always chasing it.

For about 10 minutes we just passed it around at the back. The Mansfield fans were booing our negativity and most of us around me were just perplexed that we’d dropped to walking pace. For me that was where the game was lost and I’d love to know if it came from MW or the players.
