Always stay and applaud the players, win, lose or draw. None of them want to have a bad game or lose so to me it's just courtesy for their efforts. Today IMO we played the best football I've seen since our promotion season, but sadly didn't ever look like scoring. I understand the idea of a fluid formation/ system but sow, agard, ugbo and tavernier all appeared to have been told they had a free role. Hopefully the new regime will avoid having a team who like robbos last two refuse to take responsibility and shoot.

Cisse, left back. I do not think so, especially when we had Callum Brittain on the bench and Williams could have swapped. Tactical suicide.

Yes that was something I couldn’t understand.

I really hate the way Cisse controls the ball by standing on it.

Was Lewington injured or just ran out of steam?

This. I was mystified when that change was made, Cisse is never a wing-back.
But... it must be the MK Way.

Thought they definitely looked better overall - more confident and organised. Certainly until Lewington went off.

But we are so poor up front. I am really beginning to dislike everything about Sow - his lack of movement, his lack of pace, his lack of goals and his general demeanour of a man who thinks he is way better than League One. Ugbo was also weak today. They were good defensively, but we were also weak.

You watched the same game as me, showed up our weaknesses to a tee. Sow was awful, ugbo too lightweight, let’s hope the new player welldon speaks of is a striker. Hope Neilson gets another club quickly and takes sow. Overall though much much better than of late, dan sure as hell has a massive task on his hands.

Was always planned to take him off after 55 minutes as he hasn't played a full game since October

What I saw this afternoon was Robboball all over again.

That said, they definitely deserve to be booed, unlike the last game. Not quite sure why so many people were clapping them off though either...

Why? For getting stuck in, being creative, trying something new and genuinely going for it instead of punting it long to nobody and looking disinterested? Yeah let’s boo them. Fuck sake I dispair.

Good post. Very much this.
