Who has had the greater impact?

Ask me again in May. Bate is very good but Coventry was vital for a promotion push, we still have around 2 full months left of the season

Coventry was unbelievable for us, don't let short termism forget that.

Though Bate has had a huge impact, I echo Dippy in judging g by the end of the season

I think specifically for Dons, Coventry has been the better player but its still early days for Bate at Dons I hope

I fully expect Bate to have a much better career, played at ahigher level than Coventry.

So far, Coventry by a country mile. He was immense for us and maybe a bit of an unsung hero around Twine, Oreilly and Parrott.

Bate has done well enough so far with us but has plenty of time to become the player he has the potential to be.

Coventry did it in L1, so him. Hopefully we get to see Bate do it for us in L1 next season.

This.

Both cracking players and perfect fits for MK Dons.

For me they are playing in slightly different roles too. Coventry added so much energy alongside McEachran, a bit more box to box, a bit more rugged. Bate has freed up Payne a little more, sitting a little deeper and maybe a bit more composed than Coventry.

I loved Coventry, and so far I'm very happy with what Bate has added.

They would probably play very well together.

Slowly falling in love with Bate. What a fantastic technical player he is. I don't think we have much hope of keeping him unless we go up and even then it will be a struggle.

Chalk that one up in the success column for Sweeting's transfers.
