AFC fans claiming there were some broken seats in our end…….did anyone see any broken ?

Someone on their message board then corrected them. The missing seats were removed for disabled viewing.

Was just about to post this. Pretty embarrassing claim, and one that their fans making a lot of noise about have since rowed back on.

Well, given the seats that were broken were remarkably all situated in one area, we must've had one angry front rown and the rest were pretty sensible

It’s easier to break the seats right in front of the stewards and police tbh so would make sense.

Not sure a multi page essay was needed, makes us look really petty.

Curtis, Pell and the gobshite midget coach they have deserved some sort of mention. The rest of that essay is a joke.

Please can we stop doing this sort of shite.

On one hand I appreciate the players for defending the supporters.

On the other hand I can't help but laugh at how petty this is.

Can we all fucking grow up? This is going beyond parody now. Not 'frightened for my safety', not having 'sleepless nights because we might lose' its all becoming unappealing due to how fucking petty and childish it is.

From both sides, us them and all inbetween. Grow the fuck up.

It's a straight and factual report, no gloss, I don't read any pettiness there.

Unfortunately I couldn't be there (too late to buy tickets) but watching it on TV I didn't see any of our players doing anything untoward bar trying to avert some of their players provoking our fans and making the situation far worse. Not all of their players were involved in this and in fact some of them were also trying to keep the peace. I guess we shouldn't have reacted (hence the lesser fine) but it was totally out of order for that group of AFC players to behave like that. In fact, had we done nothing AFCW would have been in far more serious shit for incitement.

Irony not one of their strong points it would appear

But then the Franchise always blow things up out of proportion when it's anything thing to do with us. They like digging us out and having a go at us but don't like it when it's thrown back at them.

Indeed.
Their punishment was worse than ours ergo they were the more culpable. :ugeek:

John Cove, reveal yourself. It’s incredibly childish and petty. We’ve dropped to their levels and it’s sad to see.

Is it me? I can't see/find an essay?
