Say no more.

It’s easily the best thing on there, which I know isn’t saying much but it really is interesting seeing what other fans say and think.

Right at the very top of this very page - and every page, for that matter - it says 'discuss and debate all things Dons'. That's what this forum is for. As we're playing AFCW on Saturday, this is relevant to our club, and gives an alternative viewpoint that is worthy of discussion and debate.

I'm not especially keen on some of the language the guy has used either (and I'm by no means a hardliner when it comes to AFCW-related stuff). But aside from that, it is interesting to read the widest range of views available. And we have the right to disagree with them and counter them if we so wish.

Just as in every area of life, just wanting to read stuff that we like and agree with is a very closed-minded way of doing things.

Other than a rather random reference to Jimmy Saville purely because of the length of someone's hair, it wasn't that bad.

Post a pic up of him WellDon and then we can liken old Laurence to a famous sex offender.

Also good to see he doesn't acknowledge the game. That's a positive sign going into the weekend

Reminds me of another club in our division.

Perhaps if one of them, who posts on here, and is a friend of yours no less, screengrabbed some of your stuff and put it up on Twitter you might think that they're all ladybits without exception.

Oh the irony, which is always lost Tooting way, over the Jimmy Saville comment. Take a jolly butchers at this: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12561563/AFC-Wimbledon-chief-campaigned-against-sexism-resigned-secret-recording-caught-calling-female-employee-f-ing-s-g-saying-wanted-kill-her.html

Sorry I haven’t got a photo, contact came via a friend.
What is interesting, I’ve known about Laurence for a number of years, we did have a couple of friendlies before, well they spoke to us, did a couple of interviews that were Xrated, and as the editor at the time I took the piss……in a funny way……it got back to AFC fans and they took great exception, to the degree I got death threats….several….it didn’t bother me, and they stopped after a week or so, something else I also had to endure as the DSA Chair.
Anyway…I digress…….we first had contact with Laurence when he was 16, he was not that bothered about the rivalry, it was just another match to him, no angle, no malice, and he thought it was time to put this rubbish to bed.
He must me 21 or so now, and it’s interesting to see how his attitude has changed, his whole feeling about the game seems to have changed….theres now a real anti feeling.

Leave quoting ages to the likes of Philip Schofield and AFCW.

Macklin was caught by the head of security, Matthew Wells. Wells had previously done six years porridge for bringing a loaded rifle and grenades into a disciplinary meeting (about him shagging a junior soldier!) with his superior while in the army, and then discharging the rifle. So I think they can all leave the Savile jokes at the door.
