It was Izale. I'll tell you how sure I am. When the junior ramones were small we went to some Dons kiddies event and there was a 'meet the players bit'. Photo's, signings all the usual. Then there was a bit when they could ask questions. Now these were young kids and it was all a bit quiet/awkward...both from kids asking and players answering. Izale to his credit took the lead. One asked how you got to be a footballer?' and got the stock answer 'train hard and do what your coach tells you'. Another asked something like 'do you eat a lot of ice cream?' Then my son puts his hand up and whoever was in charge said 'yes - lad over there' and he goes 'how did you miss that penalty against whoever...?' Some stifled laughter from the other players but Izale took it well and after being wrongfooted, smiled and said words to the effect that 'it happens' (- or perhaps it was 'sh*t happens.)
