Ive been pretty critical of the recent performances and some of the decisions that MW has been making but credit where it is due, Saturdays game was the best overall performance I have seen from a Dons side in 2 years.

The result speaks for itself but this was all about the performance. A side with balance, a identifiable system of play, organisation and a togetherness.

I think the 11 who started should be the primary 11 of this squad plus Max Dean should he be back for the end of the season, Im just not sure who in lieu of. Thats not easy for me to contemplate as no Lewington but I think we look better without him, more balanced and better set up.

Also for balance, the away commentators for Newport had masses more integrity and sense than the lot for Wrexham.
