Not happy about surcharging for a plastic season card. It discriminates against us oldies who don't dig all this techo malarkey.

Going all electronic sounds a really bad idea. Yesterday we had yet another turnstile problem with mobiles and printed tickets resulting in a massive queue at gate 4- in the end the stewards had to just let supporters walk straight through. The plastic cards WORK.

Why is anyone printing tickets?

Same weirdos at the airports no doubt.

Never, ever had a problem with e-tickets. No idea how or why people do.

Can’t just not progress because people still don’t understand how to use a QR or barcode

They're not completely infallible. I've just got back from Amsterdam where the (otherwise excellent) public transport app allows you to buy a QR-based travel pass. Works extremely well... except when the reader won't read your code because there's too much reflection on your phone, and you're holding up a load of people trying to get off a tram - as happened to me yesterday afternoon.

Same with cash - there should always be a non-tech or low-tech option IMO. Going down the road of putting absolutely everything in someone's life into a smartphone is putting too many eggs in an easily lost, stolen or broken basket.

Does the change to e tickets also apply to junior dons. This will be great but if they still have to have cards it will defeat the objective

Closing sections of the ground - are they going to close the corners?

Newish. I heard it a week ago or so. I raised a glass in celebration.

We should also move Block 11 drum et al near to the away fans in the East Stand. Leicester/Derby/Southampton are 3 teams that have their ‘noisy’ supporters next to the away fans and the atmosphere is so much better.

We only kept them open for Cornerdon. Now he's in NZ, we can proceed.
