Yeah I totally agree.

Starts by making referees better.

And how do you propose that? I mean if we gave them tools to assist them in their jobs for example goal line tech Tuesday would never have happened we would have more than likely have 11 men on the pitch and more than likely 2 more points than what we do now. They are not professional in our slum of a league so I guess most of them do this around a full time job. They are in the Prem and Championship, but don't have to be in leagues 1 and 2 so why do they care if they make a wrong decision, not like they are going to be signing on the next day. As I have said over and over goal line tech is the only answer to problems like this. There is so much money in football that the EFL could assist with funding. But they won't. They wouldn't dare do anything that would benefit the game.

There is the issue. Why do they give a shit? Why would they care about ruining a match, they've got another job? Make them full time, fund them better, train them better, reward and demote them properly and hold them publicly accountable for heir mistakes. What seems to happen unless glaringly indefensible situations, referees and ref support charities see no wrong and can't admit mistakes. It's okay to be wrong sometimes when you can admit the fault and own up to a mistake

Has Lewington's ban been confirmed yet? I am sure it is a two game ban for straight red dissent, so he will miss the AFC game, but we have some big games against Mansfield and Salford after that.

Two game ban. It’s on the FA website. For offensive language.. like we didn’t know that..

Positive news that Norman didn’t pick up anything serious, so hopefully back for tomorrow.

If Norman is back, we shouldn’t feel the loss of Lewie too much and I was really impressed with Lofthouse when he came on.

Huge relief.

Agreed about Lofthouse. He is starting to find his feet.

Controversy alert: playing Lewie ahead of Lofthouse on Tuesday was a tactical MW error IMO.

Lewie is banned isn't he? 2 matches for foul and abusive language.
So today's back line is likely to be the same as next week

To be quite honest, I think we look a better side without Lewie, today we were sharp as a pin from back to front, Norman, O’Hora and Harvie look really good as a back three

I would agree. And I say that as a big fan of him.
Whether that might always be the case who knows?
Perhaps this will be his last playing season esp if we get promoted.
