Didn’t Neilson say he definitely wouldn’t be leaving in January or did I dream it? Lack of game time I would guess. Liked the look of him in the pre season v Brentford but the style (or lack of) play under Neilson didn’t suit him

Completely agree. I remember the first day of the season, all we did was hoof it over the defenders who would obviously outmuscle him. I feel sorry for him, we never gave him a chance.

Worse than just that, we destroyed him probably completely devoid of any confidence now.

He’s a Yeovil boy, so let”s hope they can build it up again.
Soton recalled him to get more regular playing time. He was in the training pictures for us this week, so I’m guessing Dan didn’t see him getting in the team ahead of others either. So best he pops off elsewhere.
Best of luck to him.

I've had a few now   but what sort of TW*T would send Gboli back...with the certainty he's gonna come back in another L1 team???
As I have posted elsewhere, this is what finally convinced me RN was incompetent and needed to go.
Utter idiot. I lost all respect for him after that.

I get your sentiments Ali, but from Tavernier’s showing at the Cobblers I have a feeling he might be just as creative and also more inclined to put himself about a bit.

Agree, but ideally I'd like both of them here.

I honestly feel that Seager would have been a better asset than Agard or Sow but was never given a run of starts.

Seriously feel that if he had had the chance Agard did or the one that Sow puts back across the six yard box when on the bbc highlights he had a clear view of the goal he would have put it away

He looked a very bright player in pre and early season, unfortunately lobbing hopeful balls in a generally anywhere will do and chase that approach, didn’t really suit him.

So he’s been recalled before his brain and confidence are irreversibly shattered

Ariyibi leaving (being sent back) was another example of RN's TERRIBLE man management 'skills'.
FFS. Wonderful creative player.
I really wish he was still here under the new regime. :(

He’s been released by Cobblers too now. Loan terminated yesterday.

I’m sure Tavernier is a far better player. We just haven’t seen enough of him.

Oh, and Seager hasn’t played for Yeovil in nearly two months. ;)

Ariyibi has been at pretty much every home game in March. Think the only time I didn't see him was Blackburn.

Hopefully even tho we will be L2 managers will want Dan to work with their younger players as they trust him after his England exploits
