Recalled by Southampton.
Loaned to Yeovil.
Guess it frees up another loan slot.

Shows the level he is at going to Yeovil, never seemed to get up and running here, and missed some sitters against Hyde United.

I quite liked the guy. Never really had a chance to shine.
Oh well. :ugeek:

Shame we never got to see Ariyibi or Seager under Micciche. Seager did OK at times but, unlike Ariyibi, he never really did enough to make much of an impact with us.
We've got 3 loans now. Can we have 5? Does that mean they've opened up a loan spot for CB and LB on loan?
Would like to see one more attacking option come in as well now Seager's gone.

Ariyibi leaving (being sent back) was another example of RN's TERRIBLE man management 'skills'.
FFS. Wonderful creative player.
I really wish he was still here under the new regime. :(

Yes, Ariyibi's departure and Aneke's 3 game ban are big losses for the new regime. One big positive as regard playing staff is that, with a great youth coach coming in, we've managed to sign up Asonganyi, Brittain and Thomas-Asante in recent weeks. Would have been a bugger if they'd opted to leave just before he arrived.
And I wonder if Micciche will get more out of Nombe? Do people think he's good enough to make it here or will Thomas-Asante and Asonganyi be ahead of him? I think he has a chance but needs to start improving his end product.

Nombe is a good player. 100% convinced of that. I think he deserves a start at some point but with our form you can’t really. I think he will kick in next season. If he scores one or two before the end of the season it’ll help him. Can definitely see those two (BTA) doing bits under DM

I've had a few now   but what sort of TW*T would send Gboli back...with the certainty he's gonna come back in another L1 team???
As I have posted elsewhere, this is what finally convinced me RN was incompetent and needed to go.
Utter idiot. I lost all respect for him after that.

Just had a thought (it doesn't happen often so had to post about it).
Brittain and Asonganyi both signed two-and-a-half year deals, which is great.
Does the fact that Thomas-Asante was only given a one-and-a-half year deal suggest the club are still undecided on whether he'll kick-on in his career? You'd think if they feared him moving up the leagues they'd have tied him to the same lengthier deal as the other two? If he has a good start to next season we might have a fight on our hands, same as Brittain this season. Still, plenty of time to worry about that I suppose.
