Actually worth a read (for once), some balanced views around both the game and the fixture itself (e.g. perhaps they should embrace the ‘Dons Derby’ after all).

Indeed.
I've posted a few comments from them on the Boycott Enders bit. (Bingo ref)

The fella who does (or rather doesn't) do their radio commentary isn't best pleased with the reaction to his continued refusal to acknowledge that we actually exist from some on there.

The whole commentary thing is baffling to get my head around. What does it achieve? Everybody knows the situation. They might not like to acknowledge we exist but every single one them understands what happened 20 years ago. Anybody that is tuning in to watch or listen to the game, is doing it because they care about a football match. Pretending the opposition's players are invisible is just weird. But then again, we shouldn't be surprised, because that's what they are - a very weird bunch.

You've lost the "we won't acknowledge them" thing as soon as you turn up to the ground again, and again, and again, and again, to commentate on the football match.

Imagine if you're one of them? Absolutely hate our guts all you want, but more than anything you want to beat us, and you want to listen to the game, get excited at the prospect and you've got some divvy divorcee sitting in a windy wet cold soulless bowl not really commentating on anything.

I'd be very surprised if that commentator has even had the opportunity to become a divorcee.

Mind you it's quite fun thinking of said non-commentator sitting there sulking as the goals went flying in and the their players went trotting off to the amusement of everyone around him

In regards to their commentary, which I personally find hilarious, he's coming across as quite simply somewhat po faced.

I'm assuming that he was here on Tuesday, and reading one of his replies it's safe to assume that he was, and then complained that he was here. There's a simple fix to that problem. Don't come. Solved!

Likewise, someone on there said that you have to pay for the iFollow feed, and basically you're paying for something that he, the commentator, isn't willing to supply. He's making a moral decision on behalf of others. Making that decision for them. Telling them what they want.

The whole thing is immensely childish, which I'm all for really, and I know that's good coming from me with my history where they're concerned, but it's good to finally see some of them coming to the reality of being a protest movement rather than a football club. Fixation on our existence, the revisionist version of history, (if we say 2+2=5,what does 2+2=?) The excommunication of those within their fanbase who don't tie the party line, and on and on.

Even our West Country friend has almost given up. He/she/whatever, has taken against the Tories these days, which is somewhat of a moral dilemma for me personally, and obviously the usual suspects keep the animosity up, but the whole thing comes across somewhat halfhearted. Which is a shame really, because I still think that they're ladybits

They should listen to the commentary on our iFollow, which introduces AFC as one of the youngest teams in the EFL. Ha ha.
