At the same time, it's quite normal for a team with a new manager to be inconsistent in each half. It'll come but far better than playing well for zero halves like under GA

I don't think he is in this case but I think people's responses are because you do hear these types of comments from people who are serious.

As it goes, I dont think we played all that well in either half but so what, we didnt need to and won the game at a canter. They only had one real chance that they created for themselves and the unfortunate gift from the pass to Payne.

I would have liked to have put them to the sword when they went down to 9 men but I thought we showed some game management for once and just saw the match out. We have a lot of games to go and some tough ones at that so no need to do anymore than we have to.
