There is also a video of him pissing off Swindon fans by celebrating in front of them at FT on Saturday so he is officially England’s number one in my eyes (despite being Irish).

Agreed but won't happen. As soon as Marschall is fit he will play despite not being as good as kelly

I actually don't think so. Kelly plays from now on.

Kelly just got a contract extension and Williamson was very fulsome in his praise during the pre match presser. I think Kelly starts from now.

I think MW has said those things about Kelly to build his confidence in the short term. He's playing really well and made a number of decent saves but, managers with a philosophy like MW, will always back a keeper like Marschall and put up with the mistakes. I think he'll be back in when fit, which will be a real shame.

This plus all the hullabaloo about getting Marschall in the first place and the fact that he is Williamsons boy fills me with no confidence that Kelly will keep his place. He should. He looked confident. Came off his line for crosses when he needed to. A bit of a maverick when coming out of his area to clear, but all in all he had another good night and at no point was I worried about him, unlike Marschall but alas what we want and what we get are two very different things.
