Luton would quite literally easily bring 10k odd here. I have no doubts.

They would if they were allowed but doubt the police would allow them that number.

Why ? They already take thousands to their away games, in fact a lot of L2 clubs are going to suffer quite a financial drop if Luton do get promoted.

As cov, wolves, Leeds etc haven’t been allowed 10,000 when they’ve wanted them I very much doubt Luton would. When was the last time Luton took 10,000 away in a league game?

When was the last time Luton played a league club only 20 mins up the M1 ? And at a stadium they have never played at before, and all the "novelty" factor of playing us at SMK ?

Police permitting, they could probably bring 13,000 plus...easy....

I had a Luton season ticket for about 10 years - some fond memories and would like to go back in the away end this time - Ricky Hill was my idol

That David Pleat side from the late 70's/early 80's was wonderful, I remember seeing them a number of times on their travels

No ones arguing what they ‘could ‘ bring, my point was clearly what they would or have been allowed!  they will not be allowed 10,000 or 13,000+ or I will be very surprised!

They took over 7000 all the way to Newcastle, so 10000 just up the road to MK is perfectly possible.

Not saying they couldn’t sell 10,000 i’m Saying I doubt anyone would give them 10,000 for a league game.

How can we turn people away if the ground isn’t full. - that’s mad. I know thee are segregation issues but it should be possible.

I thought that initially, but to look at it financially, if Pompey get the profit from their fans, is the extra security and staff costs worth the additional on the day income and will many more MK residents be attracted to come?

Well we do, wolves wanted 10,000 and could probably have sold 12,000 and weren’t allowed cov wanted 10,000 and weren’t allowed, it’s usually down to the police and or safety certificate.

That's exactly what we're doing for Coventry because the Safety Certificate won't allow for more than 7,833 away fans. Luton would bring 7,833 and no more (unless the figure gets increased again)

I understand that, but surely they can find a way to give them more tickets and still maintain adequate safety. We have a modern ground.

I’m not disagreeing with you, I agree, but that’s the way it is. It could of course be problems away from the stadium or outside?
