 Post subject: Playing from the back

Went today…. Wish I didn’t.

I’ve always been a fan of the “MK Way” of playing football and passing from the back rather than hoofing it forward HOWEVER we seem to playing far too deep and the players arnt capable of getting through ten minutes without an error.

Crawley let us off during the week and Doncaster capitalised today.
It’s starting to wind me up - is anyone else is having 100 heart attack every game?

Because we're not ready yet. We are implementing a style for players that aren't built for it.
Similar happened in the first few months under Russ, it turned good eventually. Poor results will happen, the fact we've had a dodgy loss after 8 good ones isn't a worry to me. If we can play this way with these players, I'm confident we'll be better with players better suited to it

I saw enough of GA’s style that has ensured that I will never moan about possession based football again.

There will be errors, always. Man City make errors. Barcelona make errors. We’ll be making more as we adapt to this new style but they’ll ease over time.

This. With millions of knobs on. We’ve moved away from the “MK Way” with Neilson and Alexander l, and it’s been fricking awful. We’ll have bad days, every team does, but they’re outweighed by the good and sometimes brilliant ones . I’m in.

And when we did manage to play it out, if it got up to Norman he kicked it back again.

Yes I couldn't understand why kept doing that either

Overall I'm in for style that MW is going for. Even if we have shocking a shocking half like today at least it isn't boring....and when it clicks it is great to watch
