THE CONCRETE ROUNDABOUT (TCR)

As the final minutes of 2023 tick by, I'd like to wish every single one of you lot a very happy and peaceful new year.

It's not always been the easiest of years for me, but our wonderful little community of supporters of our unique football club is something really special that has helped me even in tough times. The football has been rubbish at times this year, and our connection with the club felt at an all-time low at one stage, but our connection with each other as fans has never felt stronger.

Who knows what 2024 has in store? Whether it's amazing, or a rough ride, I hope you find a bit of escapism being able to talk football both on here and on a Saturday afternoon at the games. Here's hoping we'll be talking about League One football again in 2024.

I'm going to be spending midnight in a way that probably sums my life up quite well - popping down to the garden shed to make sure my current 'outdoor cats' aren't too scared of all the fireworks!

Hope others are finding more entertaining ways to see in the New Year.

Happy new year to everyone except Celtic and AFC supporters who can obviously can fuck right off. 2023 was a terrible year for me, and I can only hope that 2024 is somewhat better, but inevitably I'm sure it'll be more of the same shit.
