Barnsley have therefore paid us some money to loan Grant.

Yup. There is no way 'loan fee' refers to the wages. Even 18 year olds being loaned from the prem to the EFL (where the Prem club benefit from their prospect getting game time) a percentage of wages will be paid.

Not a chance we loan someone to League one without 100% of wages being paid, that's almost a given. The loan fee (similar to a transfer fee) is on top of that. This has been the norm for a number of years now.

My stinkleblat is happy with the window. All be it I like Stewart, but clearly not going to get a look in. Would also liked to see Smith out and Waller back from loan.

Charlie Waller's loan to Banbury Utd has been extended. The club describe him as a "fan favourite", so it seems like he is doing well.

Good decision. Seen a few unhappy about this due to us not having many CB's but lets not chuck a young lad right into the deep end. Hopefully next season he'll be exposed to some first team football with us.

We have one we never use and one coming back from injury (disclaimer: I thought Stewart was injured I don't think he is, just turns out he is that out of favour he never makes the bench which if that is the case is another reason as my confusion as to why we kept him and why we have a DMF in our back three) so whoever is losing their mind about Waller is madness. Again, we have little quality in our defence, but quantity was never the issue.

Agree to disagree, but given Camendite's relationship with former members of the Club, I'm inclined to take his side

FGR have signed Richard Keogh. Must be a record for number of players signed in a single season

He made his debut at the weekend. They lost 4-0 at home. Sheer class.
