Though I think that one has been up before, as I remember feeling the same initial worry at the age, and then the position and letter count making it easier.

it was up before, maybe only a couple of weeks ago. And I did exactly what I did before. The name of a family member is the same as an ex Dons keeper and fits perfectly so I went for that last time and was even more sure I had gone right this time but alas, it was the same as previously. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, my bad!

Another first time hit today. As much luck as judgement though as I didnt know from the initial clue but with the age and position took a bit of a guess.

Yeah, same here (4 in a row ).
The clubs didn't mean anything to me, but the age, position and letter count meant it was at least a confident guess that fortunately proved right.

5th attempt today. I got stuck with the spelling of the surname and couldnt work out why it wasnt what I thought it was.

Should have done better yet again.

Got today's just based on his first club, which surprised me.

Took me a bit of thinking time to remember his name, but got todays first time

Easy first timer today. Was more disappointed to see how his career has panned out.
