Didn't look like he wanted to be here, never mind play, last 2 months. Today.... back to (more or less) normal.

He was so poor after his injury, last season and this. Hopefully the goal today is a psychological springboard because we know he's a good centre half.

Part of me definitely thought he didn't want to be here, thought he was better than League Two and by extension, us. However, the way the whole team ran over to celebrate him scoring, that's not something you'd see for a player not giving his all for his teammates. Very reassuring to see

I get the impression (Just a hunch) that he was one of the more disillusioned players under GA. I think he probably did want to go in the summer and having to play the GA way probably added to his frustration. Hasn't been perfect in the last couple, but definitely improving and we are starting to see what we know he is capable of.

No idea. People do love the idea that players sulk and it can't possibly be a confidence/mentality issue.
