On Saturday before the game. It was so embarrassing last year when an applause started after the bugle played. Can people this year please switch their brains on and just stay silent for the duration?

I think it would help if the info from the annoucer wasn't like some only connect level clue as to whats happening!

As far as I'm aware the silence at our ground is observed well into the game.

I don’t think it was made very clear last year over the PA, so it needs to be announced properly as a period of silence
