Three minutes? Why three?

It's not really three minutes of silence as there will be bugle playing. From the site:

We ask that you make your way to your seats in time for our Armed Forces Day Pre-Match Ceremony, which will begin at 2.55pm. We kindly ask supporters to remain silent throughout the whole ceremony, which will last around three minutes.

2.55pm – Service to begin with laying of the wreaths
2.56pm – Bugler to play the Last Post, followed by a period of silence
2.58pm – Bugler to play Reveille
2.59pm – Service to end
3pm – Kick-Off

Why is a burgler playing today? Oh sorry he’s just a bugger. No bugler.
Need my glasses.

It was the best silence I've ever seen, or heard, or something. I dunno.

We always do it very well, the club get it right.

One thing though, the away fans started the applause last season. (Derby?) And it spread from there.
