Dan Micciche sat behind me throughout a home game a couple of months back. He will have no illusions about what he has inherited and should hit the ground running.

I'm going on Saturday. I don't think I'll be coming back permanently (mainly because my circumstances have changed massively since I stopped) but the new regime fully deserves support.

Genuinely excited for the rest of the season and beyond now. Even when Neilson was appointed and we beat AFC, I wasn't as optimistic as I am now with Micciche.

I'm more 'well let's see' but my enthusiasm may take an upturn after a few glasses of red. 8-)

Same here, I wasn't in favour of RN at all. This I can get behind 100%, whatever League we end up in at the end of the season.

Just watching the videos with Lewie, Millen and Micciche all talking about the way they want to play football fills me with hope and excitement. A manager who talks about “creative, expressive and expansive” football will do ok for me.

Slight aside, but connected: I was going to make a reference to Dermot Drummy, the highly successful Chelsea academy coach who tried his luck at management with Crawley for the 2016/17 but failed and was sacked at the end of it. When I went to check on one or two details about him I was shocked to see he died suddenly a few months later in 2017, aged just 53. I don't know how this passed me by but I had no idea he had died. Shocked to hear that as I'd heard him interviewed quite a lot over the last couple of years as he sought for a first managers job, etc. I can't seem to find out how he died but did everyone else know that he had died? It mustn't have got much attention otherwise I'm sure I'd have noticed it.

Yes, I heard that news last year.. I never did hear the cause though. I suspect heart attack. RIP.
