During the game today, my mind drifted back to that wonderful 2007-08 season in League 2. Such a contrast in pretty much every respect. Perhaps it is simply that we had better players then?

Yes, the team was better overall. But I don't think there's a HUGE gulf between the players of 07 and 23. But they were well led by Paul Ince and well drilled by Ray Mathias.

Who Got Motm today, thought it was Gilbeys worst game he didn't seem to hang about at the end either.... Just a Bad day at the office all round..
