He was excellent today. Deserved a goal, but I hope he or we don't obsess over it. Definitely finding out more about him as a person and a player. He's definitely an arm round the shoulder sort of player and needs to feel loved. I think we are starting to "Get" him as a player and understand his qualities. I don't expect him to get the goals and assists that he did at Swindon. He had a free reign there and was heavily relied upon. Here he is around better players and more of a collective.

Very good today. Was trying so hard to score (had people behind me saying he was actively trying not to, not sure what they were watching..) and play others in but found the last 15 mins or so of the game he could've done with sticking to his position but good on him today.

Yeah, very good game for him. Angle might have been different in the ground, but he was 3 yards from goal and tried cutting it back. From iFollow, it looked like all he had to do was hit it across the keeper. Couldn’t believe he didn’t opt to shoot but as mentioned maybe the angle was tighter than it appeared.

Definitely wasn’t trying not to score though! Came close with a chance that was ruled offside. Looked delighted with his assist too.

Yes, credit where credit is due. When he is in the groove it really shows.
