Yep, from the time they were about to get promoted from LGE One (not the animal).

That was a great day, especially Wetherspoons before and afterwards. 99.9% of the Wolves fans I met were really good people.

Also, I remember the outcry on here when too many of them stood on a picnic table at the Enigma Tavern and it broke, and it was decried as a return to the dark days of hooliganism.

Was that Wolves that did that? I always thought it was Leeds? Must be getting old, time is blurring.

Probably happened more than once!

Leeds overran the Swan Hotel in Fenny and punched the landlord (IIRC for refusing a dodgy credit card), despite the fact that he's a Leeds season ticket holder.

The wolves game goes down as one of my favourite days at stadium MK. The whole atmosphere, Punjab army playing their instruments and dancing behind the boycott end, the build up, everything bar the result.

Sounds like we've sold around 4k up to Tuesday lunch time.
This is according to the box office.
Hope that number will jump to 7-8k but realistically I can see it at about 6k.
That'll be a similar number or more of bums on seats to the actual amount for a league game anyway (given that non-showing ST holders are counted)

I recollect reading somewhere that non-showing ST holders were counted for league games as a VAT requirement - the tickets having already been sold. This is not the case for Cup games, friendlies etc.

But the tickets are priced at different amounts and 800 ish are under 12s priced at £0. You might be right but it's odd of HMRC to demand it.

I think it might be for sponsors and advertisers, the higher the attendance the more you can charge.

Stony was absolutely full of them that day. They couldn't have been any nicer.
