Orrrrr, this was prearranged 15 years ago that Lewie would play for the under 23s tonight and has only come back for this game? ;)

I just wonder where this leaves Pete, has he had to phone up Lewie and apologise, has this cast doubt over the content of the video ?
Does this also extend to other potential apologies, Tilney, Harry B, Mike Dove, and whoever else we don’t know about ?

Seems too many odd/unusual things happening inside the club for it not to be some sort of knock on effect from Neilson being around.

The whole situation with Tilney stands out to me, a player that had a breakout season last season, played very well in the last game of the season and was destined for bigger things this season, suddenly isn't involved in pre-season and shipped out for the year.

Yes, hope there'll be a recall for him.

Maybe I'm missing something with Tilney, but he's on loan in the National League North. Surely if he only left after a fall out with Neilson and was actually worthy of coming back to our first team squad then he'd be on loan at a higher level? I would have thought that the lowly loan suggests, like with Connor Furlong, that they're both not really Football League level at this stage of their careers.

Just don't expect too much running.

No, but loads of clever play in triangles to move the ball forward and a good pass completion ratio, oh, and to win about 3 times as many free kicks as usual.

Plus crunching tackles and 'The Lewington look (glare/stare) that says "Come on then" to the opposition.

And the snake-hips and pass, and... and... well, apart from speed he has everything else.

Even if he was only on the bench on Sat it would surely be a massive morale booster for players and fans.

To me, he looks like he might have lost some weight:
