Honestly, playing 3 CM's and only having 1 spare is a bit of a braindead decision isn't it?

Possibly, but when you consider Grant can play in midfield too I think we're fine.

It definitely doesn't mean we should've kept Smith

He's not but he can fill in and you can adjust it and give him freedom to move forward more than Robson or Gilbey do. Which, btw, I've seen plenty of forward momentum from both so far.

Better CM than Smith though


Not sure both about as good as each other. Grant a much better 10 that’s a certain

And Grant can be freed up to bomb forward. Smith couldn't do anything.
