THE CONCRETE ROUNDABOUT (TCR)

?? For me what id like to see:

- high intensity counter press
- ball playing defenders
- playmaker breaking play up play and breaking the lines to start transitions
- pacey, athletic skillfull tricky wingplay (think ariyibi, aiden nesbit but with power and product and ability for the level so closer to corbeanu)
- powerhouse striker but with a touch of finesse/flair and bags of pace. Id live hs to have a striker one day that can cause problems in the sir but also drive at defences with the ball. The closest we hot to that was nombe allbeit not the finished article.
- creative and athletic attacking fullbacks
- box to box midfielder (think gilbey, gleeson)
- powerhouse midfielder (think panutche camara, chuks aneke)

In terms of the style of play

- pressing and setting traps
- quick ball retrieval
- clear passing mentality but not too patient and boring. Lots of possession but at high tempo with purpose
- brave ball playing defending
- brave sweeper keeper with great distribution

In terms of my ideal lineup and profile of player from past dons players while maintaining realism (no dele alli)

They arent our best ever players but they are the profile of player id want allbeit with as high end product as possible and the best level possible.

My word that team is atrocious, Anneke in midfield, Benavante on the pitch, my eyes are bleeding.

Also surely you have pretty much asked for football perfection in how they play?

I would love to see a Dons team confident with the ball, that don't get bullied by the opposition and every now and then has a player with magic in their boots to leave me thankful I was there to see it!

I don't think Nesbit or Ariyibi would make it in my top 20 wingers when thinking about a Dons team. Chuks in midfield? Two very average loan wing backs who made little to no impact?
