A long ball from Milly set up Hemp's goal. It can work with the right people up front.

I know the defending in the men’s professional game can be bad at times, but if you’re hoping to score a goal due to that level of defending for Hemp’s goal, you could be waiting a while.

That was genuinely u12’s stuff

Now, the third goal - that was a beautiful reverse pass, and then some - that goal wouldn't have looked out of place at any level of the men's game.

The women's game might be lacking tactically and defensively but the technical skills of forward players are of a very high standard.

...aided by the low level of goalkeeping. Those semi-final goals were very, very saveable (*in the eyes of a fat, old man who never played above University level himself!!!)

Oh come on ! You really believe Toone's shot was stoppable ? Never at any level.

You're right. That was an absolute peach. I was thinking of the other two, and the third in particular.

All the England goals are shots which frequently go in towards top level of the men's game, and none were the result of poor goalkeeping.
